Members of the allotment association returned to Gravel Pit Field today, on a warm sunny day to burn and tidy-up the field, after cutting the hedges that had grown into the field. The bonfire didn’t exactly go as planned, and took many hours of man handling to burn all the hedge cuttings. Five members attended, and worked from 1.30pm to approximately 5.00pm.

We had our first AGM on Tuesday 13 April 2010, minutes will be published shortly on the website, when agreed, and more work is planned for the field, we had an offered of top soil for the site that we have accepted and our very grateful.
