We’ve had a mention in the latest Yapham-Cum-Meltonby Parish Newsletter, Summer 2009 delivered to my door. It reads

“Progress towards establishing the Parish’s ownership of Gravel Pit Field continues, perhaps too slowly for some but absolutely necessary for the parish. This is a prerequisite before giving final consideration to the proposed allotment project, more details of which can be found on the parish notice boards, or go to the recently created website www.gravelpitallotments.org.uk”
